Founded in 2025 by Pankaj Jadhav, a Pune native who kept hearing the same complaints.
CabsPune was founded in 2025 by Pankaj Jadhav, a Pune native who kept hearing the same complaints about the city's cab options. The apps were everywhere, sure, but families heading to Shirdi, professionals catching the morning run to Mumbai, groups setting off for Mahabaleshwar, they were the ones getting hit with surge pricing, last-minute cancellations, and drivers who never showed on the outstation routes.
The idea behind CabsPune was simple: offer a cab service where customers know the fare upfront, pay only a minimal advance to confirm, and always get a verified, professional driver who turns up on time. We started small from Keshavnagar in East Pune and added routes one by one. Pune to Mumbai and Pune to Shirdi came first, and from there we grew to over 50 outstation destinations across Maharashtra.
These days we serve customers right across Pune and PCMC, from Hinjewadi's IT corridor to Koregaon Park, from Magarpatta out to Wakad. A 4 AM airport pickup, a weekend family run to Lonavala, a group pilgrimage to Bhimashankar: our drivers and team are ready for all of it, any hour of the day.

Driver Verification
Every driver goes through background verification, license validation, and a driving assessment before joining our team. We check commercial driving permits, police verification records, and how many years they've actually been behind the wheel. That last bit matters most on ghat roads and long highway runs.
Vehicle Inspection
Vehicles are inspected for AC condition, tyre health, engine performance, and cleanliness before being assigned to a trip. For outstation trips, we make sure the vehicle has been serviced recently and is ready for the long haul. A breakdown on the expressway is the last thing anyone wants.
Booking & Communication
